What is IBX?

It's a nail repair and strengthening treatment that repair severe nail damage and toughens the upper layers of the nail plate allowing nail growth.

What are the benefits of IBX?

• Can help with thin, weak, damaged, splitting or peeling nails.

• It repairs delaminated and peeling free edges of your nails.

• IBX can help your nails grow longer as it toughens natural nails.

• It also improves the colour and appearance of natural nails.

• Most importantly, IBX can be used as a protective shield under gel polish or nail enhancements.
   

How does IBX work?

It penetrates into the upper layers of the nail and fuses them together under gentle heat to strengthen your nails from the inside and providing a protective shield to stop nails from breaking, leaving it stronger and more resistant to the effects of nail enhance-ents like gel polish.

How often do I need IBX?

Weekly, progressing to every 2 - 3 weeks, depending on how much repair is needed to bring the nails back to good health.  We recommend pairing your IBX treatments with gel polish so that you're getting both internal and external strength added to your natural nails. IBX can be used as a treatment by itself without any polish, under gel polish or when you get backfills.

What is Gel Polish?

Gel polish is excellent for adding some extra strength and protection to your natural nails.

How long does gel polish last?

Artistic Colour Gloss is designed to last 3 times longer than traditional polish (average 2-3 weeks), before they will need main-tenance or removal.

How do I maintain gel polish?

We highly recommend that you don't leave it longer than 3 weeks as this can cause damage to your natural nail plate in more ways than one. We recommend a regular service of every 2-3 weeks.

What is Multi-Flex Gel?

Luminary's Multi-Flex Gel is a soft gel with the strength of acrylic and flexibility of hard gel that has real staying power. It is a universal base product, builder gel, overlay gel, and extension gel for instant length.  Multi-Flex will not lift or chip, and lasts 2-3 times as long as other products.  

Can I get a back-fill with Multi-Flex?
Yes, because of Multi-Flex's semi-hard formula, it can be soaked off or back-filled. 

How do I Maintain multi-Flex Gel?

Similarly to gel polish, it is highly recommend that you don't leave it longer than 3 weeks. We recommend a regular service of every

2-3 weeks.

What is Putty Polygel?

Putty Polygel is a new alternative between hard gel and acrylics. Super flexible and light weight.  23% Lighter than acrylics, 16% lighter than traditional hard gels.  Putty is applied to your natural nail plate for extra strength and support.  This is a great option to assist in growing your nails which need more strength than gel polish alone.

How do I maintain putty?

We recommend you come in for back-fills at least every 3 weeks to stop damage from happening to your natural nail plate in more than 1 ways, to keep your nails in shape and well looked after.

What is a back-fill?

The area of new growth are being filled with the putty. First, gel polish is removed, then any product that is lifting or coming away is removed.  Then we blend it into the existing putty and finish with a gel polish.

What if I have short nails?

Any nail enhancement can be done on short nails.  Putty is a great starting point for extra strength to help your nails grow. We simply apply it on your natural nails and can do back-fills until your nails have reached the desired length.  Putty is also used to build extensions if you would like longer nails straight away!
